Person extricated from car after A24 Findon collision

An adult was extricated from a vehicle after it collided with the central reservation on the A24 at Findon last night (Tuesday, October 18), police have confirmed.

Firefighters and paramedics also attended the incident which occured at 9pm, close to the junction with the high street, police said.

Two people were taken to Worthing Hospital with minor injuries, the police confirmed.

A fire service spokesperson said that one adult was extricated from the vehicle using hydraulic rescue equipment after two applicances from Worthing and a heavy rescue tender were called to the scene,
