SHOREHAM River Fest was given a thunderous welcome on Saturday.
But early storms cleared enough to draw the crowds during the morning and the skies turned to clear blue and scorching sunshine by Monday.
A host of free entertainment was on offer across town, from music and art to food and fun on the water.
Not everything went quite to plan but most events took place evenutally, raising money for charity along the way.
See the Shoreham Herald on Thursday for a round-up and picture special.
