SHOREHAM solicitors Fitzhugh Gates held a coffee morning to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support as part of the charity’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
Residents and other businesses popped into the High Street firm on Friday, September 27, to enjoy tea, coffee and cake.
The huge range of cakes on offer was all baked by staff keen to show their support for the charity.
The firm had ‘an overwhelming number of visitors’ and raised £221.37 at the Shoreham office.
This was added to by a similar coffee morning at the firm’s Brighton office on the same day, which raised a further £109.25.
Hugo Hunt, partner at Fitzhugh Gates, said: “We are very pleased to have raised this amount of money in support of a charity that plays such a significant role in supporting those affected by cancer.
“We would like to thank everyone who took the time to enjoy coffee and cake with us.”
