FORMER Southwick football players are sought for a memorial match.
Southwick FC is holding a game in memory of Melvyn Hocking, who died in May, to raise money for a bench and plaque.
The Melvyn Hocking Memorial Cup fixture will be between former Southwick players and former Shoreham players on Sunday, September 29, at 2pm.
Secretary Paul Symes said: “We are trying to get as many players and people who were involved in the club in the 30 years Melvyn was a key figure at Southwick FC to just make an appearance on the day to see old friends.
“So far, we have the likes of Mark Burt, Lee Cox, Justin Gregory, Dave Wills, Jason Tighe, Gary Woolgar, John Dutton, Jimmy Downey, Kevin Gillingham, Mark Graham, Steve Dicker, Dom Shepherd and Nigel Silverlock.”
