COMMUNITY groups can bid for up to £5,000 each from a pot of £80,000 worth of grants.
Adur District Council is launching its second round of grants to voluntary and community groups.
Projects can be new or existing but they must meet one of five priority areas - promoting health and wellbeing, promoting community involvement and volunteering, targeting inequalities and deprivation, increasing partnership working between organisations, and promoting the regeneration of the district.
Groups can discuss their ideas with the communities team on 01273 293311 before submitting their application, or they can get some help making an application from Adur Voluntary Action on 01903 854980. Applications must be in by Friday, October 11.
Grants were awarded to a range of projects across the district in the first round of grants in August.
There will be another opportunity to apply in the third and final round in January 2014.
