Teens arrested after railway station row

Two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm following an incident at Worthing railway station.

A British Transport Police (BTP) spokeswoman said officers attended on Tuesday, January 1, following a report of “an altercation” between two men and a member of rail staff.

“The incident was reported to BTP at 6.59pm,” she added.

“A 17-year-old man from Worthing and an 18-year-old from Southwick were arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm and were taken to custody. Both men have been released on police bail until Thursday, January 24, pending further enquiries.”
