But he still relishes performing in more intimate venues where he can establish a direct connection with the audience.

Hide AdHe toured with Sting for six years, recording three albums with him and has also played with former Yardbird Jeff Beck.
Jason Rebello was inspired by the playing of jazz fusion master Herbie Hancock.
He came to prominence when jazz legend Wayne Shorter produced his first album.
“It was like a dream,” recalls Jason.
Despite his subsequent success Jason is still intent on taking his music to new places and refining his art.

Hide AdHis performance at Rye will include an eclectic range from his back catalogue and tracks from his latest and much acclaimed new album Anything But Look.
He will be performing with his trio at Rye, and special guest singer Joy Rose, who Jason has known for years.
“Having Joy there provides an incredible dimension,” said Jason, who added: “I am really looking forward to coming to Rye.”
