STEYNING High Street will be buzzing with entertainment tonight, for late-night Christmas shopping.

The fun kicks off with a children’s parade from outside the White Horse at 6pm.

Father Christmas will be leading pupils from Steyning and Upper Beeding primary schools up the High Street, accompanied by Stephen Davies and his jazz band.

There will be a fairground in the town centre car park and local choirs and bands.

The High Street will have an array of tempting stalls and welcoming shops with Christmas gifts.

Organised by Steyning and District Business Chamber, the annual event is tonight, from 6pm to 9pm.

Chairman Alan Marsh said: “This is an ideal opportunity to support your local High Street and the independent retailers that make Steyning such a fabulous place to shop.

“As well as our local businesses, there will be a host of unique artisan producers and local craftsmen selling their wares on the variety of stalls that line the High Street.

“With a fun fair, food, music and a whole host of entertainment, it really is a cracking night out for all the family.”
