CHILDREN are invited to Woods Mill nature reserve in Small Dole for a spooktacular experience with Sussex Wildlife Trust on October 31.
Children can meet bats and enjoy creepy craft activities - making their own weird and wonderful wooden creatures and a bat mask to take home.
Adventurous explorers will follow a candlelit trail through the woods to a camp fire circle as darkness falls.
Children can learn how to whittle their own toasting stick to toast marshmallows over the fire, and enjoy a warming cup of hot chocolate. It costs £5 for children, £2.50 for adults and £7/£3.50 for non-members.
Children aged five to 11 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
