Members of Shoreham Churches Together gathered last week in a vigil to pray for peace in Syria.

It was in response to a request from Pope Francis for prayers to be said for the country on Monday, October 31.

They prayed for all the people of Syria and for those leaders trying to reach a peaceful solution to the fighting.

The vigil in Shoreham was in solidarity with two in London – one at the Russian Embassy and one at The Foreign Office.
