LIFEBOAT launches and a man over board demonstration will entertain the crowds at Shoreham Lifeboat Station’s annual open day.
The state-of-the-art building on Kingston Beach will throw open its doors on Saturday from 10am to 4pm.
Visitors will be able to go aboard the all-weather Tamar lifeboat and D class inshore lifeboat in the station and chat with the crew.
The boats will launch twice during the day and the crew will carry out a demonstration. Brighton and Littlehampton lifeboats will also be doing a display.
There will be lifeboat models on show by the lifeboat model society, the coastguards and sea safety team will be on hand to give advice, and the National Coastwatch Institution who will be talking about its role in Shoreham.
Children can drive a remote-controlled model lifeboat and there will be stalls and refreshments.
Admission is free and all proceeds will go to Shoreham RNLI.
