Dogs Trust Shoreham is inviting dog lovers and their four-legged-friends to attend the charity’s annual fun day on Sunday.

Taking place at the Brighton Road rehoming centre from 11.30am to 4pm, the event features fun and games for everyone with the fun dog show top of the bill. Dogs of all shapes and sizes will have the chance to compete in a number of categories including ‘waggiest tail’, ‘best trick’ and ‘best rescue’.

Other highlights include have-a-go agility, a doggy dash, a bouncy castle, a tombola and raffle with the chance to win some fantastic prizes. There will also be a variety of Dogs Trust merchandise available to buy on the day, and delicious refreshments.

Naomi Rhymes, Dogs Trust Shoreham supporter relations officer, said: “We are delighted to be hosting another annual fun day, it’s a fantastic opportunity to meet local dog lovers and raise pounds for the hounds in our care. There are all sorts of fun activities planned throughout the day so please come along and support Dogs Trust Shoreham, we can promise you a really great day out for all the family! If you have any donations of bottles of wine, gift sets or edible treats that can be given away as prizes in our raffle or games, we would love to hear from you.

“We are also in urgent need of donations of treats for our dogs to help with their training. If you have any items you would like to donate, please feel free to drop by the rehoming centre, all donations will be gratefully received.”

Entrance is £1 per adult. See www.dogstrust.org.uk
