Unison, Unite and the GMB will strike over opposition to the government’s one per cent pay award offered to local government staff.
The county council has stressed that the industrial action is the result of national disputes between the government and the various unions and it has no control of the situation locally.
Residents are being warned to expect some disruption across council services.
Details of any school or service closures can be found on www.westsussex.gov.uk or by checking individual school websites.
