The investigation continues for missing Lancing man, Mark Manning, after police were unable to find evidence of his body at Brooklands Pleasure Park in Worthing yesterday.

This morning, a spokesman for Sussex Police confirmed that no evidence was found in and around the site.

He said: “As nothing was found during the search of Brooklands yesterday, the site will be eliminated from the inquiry. The investigation will continue as we have several lines of enquiry.”

Police descended onto the site Tuesday morning following an anonymous tip-off that the body of Mr Manning, 54, of Brighton Road, could be found near there.

Mark was last seen on April 19 2014 before his family reported him missing on April 22. They said it was completely out of character for him to disappear.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
