SHOREHAM WordFest has organised a poetry trail for the Adur Festival.
Shop windows, restaurants, bus shelters and Shoreham railway station waiting room are displaying original poems by contemporary poets who live in, or are associated, with Sussex.
Shoreham writer Barbara Meredith has also organised poetry readings at Ginger & Dobbs, in East Street, Shoreham, on Saturdays and Sundays during the festival, from 4pm to 6pm.
Trail organiser Marilyn Stafford said: “Festival goers are invited to come along for tea or wine and hear a poem, or bring along one of their favourites to read.
“On view will be paintings with poems by artists Geoff Lowe and Robert Redford.”
The Adur Festival runs until Sunday, June 8.
