Overnight works on A27 at Lancing

Overnight works began on Thursday, between Busticle Lane and the Adur Viaduct, and will continue until the end of March.

They will involve overnight carriageway closures, but when one carriageway is closed, the other will remain open.

Anita Waterton, Highways Agency project sponsor said: “We have planned the work to minimise disruption and that is why work will take place overnight and in one direction at a time, with a clearly signed diversion route in place so that drivers can continue their journeys.”

Work will mostly take place on weeknights between 8pm and 6am, with some weekend working. Further closures will be publicised in advance.
