VOLUNTEER COLUMN: Volunteering can make you happier

A recent study by volunteering website {https://do-it.org/|www.do-it.org|click here} has revealed that volunteering helps us find new friends, improves our mental health and three quarters of us would be more likely to volunteer if the boss gave us time off to do it.

According to the survey of over 1,400 volunteers, almost all of the respondents said that volunteering benefited them in some way, whether that’s in terms of making new friends, gaining new skills or just a general feeling of satisfaction and fulfilment.

Would you like to see what benefits you could gain from volunteering?
