A weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for strong gusting winds across Sussex tomorrow (Tuesday November 17).
The yellow ‘be aware’ warning is for around 3pm tomorrow until midnight.
The Met Office says that west to south-westerly gales and locally severe gales are likely to sweep eastwards across parts of Wales, southern, central and eastern England. Gusts could reach 60-70mph inland and possibly 80mph along exposed coasts,
The Met Office adds that people should be aware of the risk of disruption to travel and that gusts of this strength could bring down trees and lead to some damage to weakened structures.
Heavy rain is also forecast for parts of the county tomorrow which could add to the problems.
However, Wednesday is set to be far quieter with cloudy conditions and the wind strength dropping dramatically.
