Man falls from scaffolding in Shoreham

A Sussex Air Ambulance helicopter was spotted on Shoreham Beach Green this morning to tend to a scaffolding accident in River Close.

At 10.35am, Sussex Police were called by the ambulance service to River Close, Shoreham Beach, after a 67-year old man had fallen about 25 feet from scaffolding.

He was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital for treatment and there is currently no assessment of his condition, according to Sussex Police.

The incident was accidental.
