An overturned car is causing ‘major disruption’ on the A27 near Shoreham, according to Sussex Police.

Police have confirmed that emergency services are on scene for a collision near to Shoreham.

Officers were called to A27 near to the Southwick tunnel at shortly before 4pm to a collision involving a car and the barrier, police said.

It happened eastbound after the tunnel and the road is currently closed while emergency vehicles are on scene.

Travel reports show there is congestion to the Steyning turn off and the public are advised to avoid the area.
