VIDEO: Southwick Christmas house on TV

Waiting for Video...

TELEVISION cameras were in Southwick this morning, to film a property dubbed ‘Southwick Christmas House’.

Paul Ross-Dale and Jeremy Payne have transformed their Hill Farm Way front garden, creating a stunning Christmas lights display complete with hologram Santa.

They are raising money for St Barnabas House hospice and Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice and have already hit the £300 mark.

ITV Daybreak weather presenter Laura Tobin broadcast live from outside the house throughout this morning’s show.

She interviewed the pair on the 8am bulletin, in front of a group of supporters from the two charities.

They told her it cost them £100 extra in electricity over the five weeks.

“Seeing all these happy faces and the lights just makes it all so worthwhile,” they added.

Laura told them: “It is absolutely fantastic here, the first time I have ever seen a glitter ball, disco Christmas tree!”

See the Herald on Thursday to find out more.
