Excitement is mounting in Steyning as the date for a brand new charity pantomime draws near.

Mike Black has written Cinderella and the Uglies in the Land Of Make Believe as an original pantomime to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

He is also directing rehearsals ahead of the nine-show run at Steyning Town Football Club in February.

The cast of 14 includes performers from Brighton-based groups Crescent Operatic and Spotlight Players, as well as a few of the football players from the club itself.
