Steyning Grammar School head resigns

STEYNING Grammar School head Chris Taylor has resigned on health grounds.

He will be leaving at the end of the summer term and governors are currently advertising for a replacement to start in September.

In today’s Steyning Herald, you can read about the school’s Ofsted success and Mr Taylor’s pride in the report.

David Barling, chairman of Steyning Parish Council, has written to Mr Taylor expressing good wishes for the future.

“It is with deep regret that we have learned of the resignation of Chris Taylor as head teacher of Steyning Grammar School on health grounds,” he said.

“Chris has so much enthusiasm for the school and made a real difference in his time as head teacher. He will be sadly missed by staff and pupils alike.”
