Steyning choirs join forces to raise money for town’s museum trust
Steyning choir Cantatrice Voices will perform the benefit concert with Kaleidoscope Singers
TWO choirs are joining forces to raise money for Steyning Museum.
Kaleidoscope Singers and Cantatrice Voices will be performing a benefit concert for Steyning Museum Trust on Saturday, March 16.
The concert, called Saints and Sinners, will be held at St Andrew and St Cuthman Church, in Church Street, Steyning, at 2pm.
The conductor will be Zoë Peate and accompanist, Laura Skuce.
Zoë trained as a singer at Trinity College of Music, where she was awarded the Lady Maud Warrender Prize for outstanding achievements in singing and musicianship.
Her extensive concert and recital engagements include appearances at the Wigmore Hall, the South Bank and Fairfield Hall in Croydon.
Zoë’s life now revolves around directing and training choirs.
Laura Skuce started the piano at the age of five and went on to perform across the world, singing at the piano.
Music for the concert will include Beati Quorum Vir, Satan Go Away, Ave Maria, Witness and more.
Tickets (which include tea and cake afterwards) are £7.50 for adults and £3 under 16s, available from Steyning Museum and the Steyning Bookshop, High Street.
