STARGAZING is back in Steyning, after January’s event was affected by bad weather.
Steyning Downland Scheme says the weather looks good for Saturday, so the free event is set for 7pm at the Rifle Range, off Mouse Lane.
Volunteer administrator Jane O’Neill said: “We are hoping for clear skies for our next Stargazing event, whihc is taking place on March 29.
“If the weather’s good, we’ll be observing the planet Jupiter and learning about the night sky through powerful telescopes with local astronomers.”
Meet in The Star Inn car park at 7pm, or head straight to the Rifle Range. No booking required but the event will go ahead only if the sky is relatively clear.
