Snow alert for West Sussex

THE Met Office has today (Thursday, January 17) issued an amber alert for snow in West Sussex tomorrow.

The alert begins at 3am tomorrow (Friday, January 18) and ends at 9pm tomorrow.

A yellow alert for snow is valid from 12.05am on Saturday (January 19) to midday on Sunday (January 20).

In addition, a yellow ice alert – a medium likelihood of low impacts – has been issued to cover the further snow and snow showers on Saturday and icy weather on Saturday night.

The level-three cold weather alert has been extended to Monday (January 21).
