SECTIONS of the A27 will be resurfaced this week in a bid to make road journeys smoother and safer.

Work starts today at the Patcham Interchange for one night, before moving to the Shoreham flyover (Adur Interchange) tomorrow for four nights.

The Highways Agency said the work marked the start of a programme of road surface maintenance on the A27, as part of the Government’s commitment to invest in infrastructure.
