Nikki Sheeran took some snaps at Splash Point this morning, following yesterday’s stormy weather.

They show how the shingle and seaweed was washed onto the prom by the sea, amid howling winds.

Earlier yesterday, Shaftesbury Avenue in Worthing had to be closed after scaffolding collapsed, with photographers Eddie Mitchell and Peter Pollack both sending in pictures of the scene.
