STAFF at an Upper Beeding nursing home were giving a treat to reward them for their hard work during the recent hot weather.
The pampering morning at Valerie Manor, in Henfield Road, saw 15 members of staff receive an Indian head massage.
Owner Zoë Bates said: “We have recently treated staff and said thank you for all their hard work by way of offering them Indian head massages at the home.
“We felt that staff needed a little bit of treating as they have been working so hard in this hot weather to look after our residents and needed a little relaxation and pampering themselves.
“Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, although some were not too pleased to have to go back on shift after their treatment!”
Debby Holmes-Smith and Gail Armstrong from Bloomsbury Clinic and Studio in Steyning spent the morning at Valerie Manor and managed to treat 15 members of staff to an Indian head massage.
Debby is the proprietor at the clinic and Gail has recently joined the team as a therapist specialising in Indian head massages.
Miss Bates said: “I think the staff will be asking for another session again soon. Thank you to Debby and Gail for a special morning.”
