SHOREHAM nursery nurse Hollie Hadfield and former teacher Maria Oldfield are opening a pre-school with a creative focus.
An open day was held at Crocodoodle Creative Pre-School, in St Giles’ Church hall, Upper Shoreham Road, Shoreham, last Wednesday to show what the pre-school will have on offer from September.
Hollie said: “Our unique selling point is the creative side of things and how we deliver the EYFS (early years foundation stage) through this.”
Themes and activities will be led by the children’s interests and curiosity and will include visual arts, music making, dance, drama and multi-sensory exploration.
The pre-school will be open for children aged two to five, term times only, Monday to Friday, 9.15am to 12.15pm, Tuesday and Thursday, 9.15am to 3.15pm.
Hollie was a senior nursery nurse in Hove for several years, gained special needs experience at Chailey Heritage and has had several nanny positions.
Maria was a teacher for more than ten years, specialising in art and gifted and talented education. After having her first child, she became a childminder and for the last 18 months, she has been busy establishing Crocodoodle’s family sessions.
