YOUNG Shoreham musicians had a busy weekend, performing at three separate events.

Members of various young musicians’ collectives from Original Allstars Music played three separate gigs.

The weekend kicked off with an acoustic evening at West Street Loft in Shoreham last Friday.

Then the bands were rocking it at Adur East Lions’ black-tie birthday do at Ropetackle Arts Centre last Saturday, and finally showing support at the Brighton Marathon last Sunday, playing on the Allstars’ own bus stage in Boundary Road, Portslade.

Peggy-Jane Murrell, a senior associate for Shoreham Allstars, said: “Original Allstars Music gave the musicians within their various collectives the opportunity to play at three very different events, which saw them playing to a diverse audience ranging from local dignitaries to marathon runners.

“These three events mark the start of a very busy summer season of gigs for the young musicians of Shoreham.”
