THE new year is often a time of reinvention and re-evalution, and in keeping with this, a Shoreham beauty studio is offering a range of ‘new you’ workshops.
Time-Out Studio, in Tarmount Lane, has kicked off 2014 with a New Year, New You series of wellbeing events, ranging from relaxation to fashion.
Beauty therapist Olivia Wragg, who opened the studio three months ago, said the aim was to achieve a sense of general wellbeing.
Workshops for January and February include colour confidence, life coaching, emotional freedom technique, creating skincare products and making Valentine bouquets.
Olivia said: “The world is becoming more and more fast paced and the introduction of smart technology has meant that everyone is either constantly working, glued to social media or the TV, everything is so readily available.
“This can have a negative impact on general wellbeing, everything from sleep patterns and migraines to increased stress levels.
“It is important to step away from that and refocus on quality of life, enjoying the present and the people you are sharing that with.”
She has selected treatments to focus on grounding and relaxing, with a sprinkling of pampering. Each treatment is tailored to the individual.
