QUIZ teams are sought for a charity fundraising evening in Steyning.
Steyning Millennium Trust is organising the grand charity quiz night at the Steyning Centre on Saturday, September 20.
Teams of four to six people can take part, for a donation of £5 per head, and doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
A licensed bar will be provided and people are free to take along their own snacks and nibbles. There will also be a raffle.
Paul Maidment, one of the trustees, said: “We would like to promote the quiz to as many people in the school catchment area as possible.”
To register your team, contact Paul Maidment, 42 Roman Road, Steyning BN44 3FN, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Give the names of team members and send the entry fee, payable to The Steyning Millennium Trust.
The charity is dedicated to the students of Steyning Grammar School, inspiring and rewarding them for achievement, effort and endeavour.
It helps special students who have turned their life around and stand out from the crowd, make a great difference at home, school and in the community.
The trust grants bursaries to students who show supreme personal efforts to help them further their education.
Each year, £3,000 is awarded to a dozen students who are shining examples to their peers.
Fundraising is helping to build up an endowment fund to support these awards every year for the next millennium. The goal is to raise £100,000.
