Lions’ fund-raising supports three hospices

Adur East Lions have been raising money for hospices in the area and a total of £1,500 has now been handed over to the charities.

The cheques were gratefully received by representatives of the charities – Major Tom Wye from Chestnut Tree House and St Barnabas, and Antonia Shepherd from The Martlets.  Adur East Lions Club meets once a month at the Royal George public house in Shoreham and organises fund-raising activities east of the River Adur, in Shoreham, Southwick and Fishersgate.
