Girl injured in Shoreham collision

POLICE are seeking witnesses to a Shoreham road incident in which a young girl was seriously injured.

The 13-year old local girl was in collision with a blue Vauxhall Corsa saloon being driven by a local woman in Kingston Lane, Shoreham, near the junction with Church Lane, just after 3pm on Monday, March 4.

The girl was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with a serious leg injury where she will remain to undergo surgery. The car driver was unhurt.PC Ben Henwood, of the Sussex road policing unit at Arundel, said: “We are asking anyone who saw what happened to call us via 101 quoting serial 0944 of 4/3.”
