A new time slot has been set up for the toddler service for St Mary's and St Nicolas' churches, Shoreham

SHOREHAM parents are invited to share breakfast with their little ones at a new toddler group.

Having taken a break, the Tuesday Toddler Service at St Nicolas’ Church, St Nicolas’ Lane, is now returning in a new time slot, on Monday mornings, starting on February 25.

The church will be open from 9.15am, when parents and carers are invited to enjoy fresh coffee and croissants while they chat and the children play with some toys.

The children will then be able to ring the church bell, sing some songs and play musical instruments.

Organiser Michele Peet said the session will finish by 10.30am.

“This will be such a great opportunity to get to know the families within our churches,” she said.

Michele is looking for support and assistance in starting up the service again.

“Specifically, I will need help with preparing and serving the refreshments and tidying and closing up at the end,” she said.

“I will also need families to come and just be there, so please do support the group even if you are not able to help!”

Call her on 01273 467140, or 07967 085510, or email smpeet@ntlworld.com with offers of help.
