SUMMER holiday clubs launch at Sussex Wildlife Trust next week, giving children hands-on experience with nature.

The Wild Woodies programme, which starts on Tuesday and runs throughout August, features bug hunting, pond dipping, shelter building, crafts, camouflage games and toasting marshmallows over the camp fire.

Clubs are at Woods Mill Nature Reserve, near Small Dole, Stanmer Park in Brighton, Seven Sisters Country Park near Seaford and Rye Harbour Nature Reserve.

Children do not need to be accompanied by an adult but booking is essential. For more information on times, ages and prices, visit www.sussexwildlifetrust.org.uk/events or call 01273 497561.
