SEVENTY-EIGHT bikers donated and delivered 224 Easter eggs and lots of toys to Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice last Sunday.
For the second year running, biker clubs in the area joined together to put smiles on the faces of children with life-limiting conditions.
Kathy Whyberd, treasurer of Highdown MCC, said: “It’s a very worthy cause, a few of us know families who have had children at the hospice.
“It was a brilliant day for it, the sun was shining on us and the kids loved it. It’s lovely to see a big burly biker hand over a teddy bear to a child and see their eyes light up.”
