Easter theme to Durrington Country Market

The Durrington Country Market opened as usual on Thursday at 9.30am in the Church Hall, New Road, and, as customers stepped into the hall, they saw some of the helpers dressed in keeping with the season, wearing 'Easter Bunny' ears.

The room was a beautiful sight. All the tables were decorated, and as well as our usual home-made cakes and savouries, we had specialities such as Simnel cake and Easter biscuits.

Spring showed itself among the bedding plants which were soon snapped up.

Hopefully, as the weather gets warmer, we shall have more. So do drop in any Thursday between 9.30 and 11am. Look round and stay for a cup of tea or coffee.
