A SHOP in Shoreham was robbed at gunpoint by two hooded thieves last night.

Two men armed with hand guns entered the Co-op in Royal George Parade, Shoreham, around 7.35pm.

They demanded the staff opened the tills, before making off with £300 in cash and 200 packets of cigarettes.

No one was hurt in the incident.

One of the men was dressed all in blue with his hood up and a scarf covering his face. The other was wearing a long, baggy dark-coloured jacket with his hood up and a light coloured scarf covering his face.

Police would like anyone with information to come forward and call 101.
