RAINBOWS feature in the November Readers’ Picture Gallery, alongside some very newsworthy snaps.
Mark Robinson from Warwick Baker Estate Agents sent in a picture of a rainbow over Upper Shoreham Road.
He said: “The rainbow was directly over a development of 16 new houses we are selling at Coventina Close. Is there a pot of gold in one of them?”
Joe Williamson’s rainbow picture saw one stretching along the river in Shoreham.
Sticking to a watery theme, Kevin Gilroy, of East Meadway, Shoreham, sent in two pictures called Sailor’s November Autumn Sunset Over The River Adur.
The picture was taken on Friday November 14. “Says it all. Enjoy,” said Mr Gilroy.
David Tarr, of North Street, Shoreham, was well placed to see the base structure go up for the new Shoreham Centre extension.
He sent in a series of photographs taken over a period of days, showing front and rear views and the basic shape forming.
“It may be worthwhile pointing out that the double yellow lines, which took Sunninghill (site constructors) 12 weeks to get permission for, at the entrance to the community centre, are there to get the large site traffic in and out, not for blue badge holders to park on,” said Mr Tarr.
He also sent in a picture of the Adur Ferry Bridge opened on Wednesday, November 5, for maintenance work.
Roberto Pampado kindly sent a photo and video of the scene of a crash in Southwick on Wednesday, November 26.
“I thought you may have wanted a photo and a video of the scene, as I just got there in my car, for your news report,” said Mr Pampado.
Send your pictures to email@example.com for inclusion in the newspaper and in the online monthly gallery.
