Firefighters tackle car blaze in Goring

A CAR has gone up in flames outside a parade of shops in Goring Road.

Firefighters are currently at the blaze, which is believed to have started around 9.09am.

An eye-witness said: “The whole road was thick with black smoke and it smelled awful. The poor owner was taking things out of his boot as the front of the car went up in flames.

“Lots of people came out of shops to watch.”
