FESTIVE fun will include something for all the family at the Shoreham Christmas Festival tonight.
There will be street entertainment from bands and carol singers throughout the town centre, including High Street and Brunswick Road.
Children’s rides and sideshows will be provided by Showtime Amusements and in East Street, there will be a Christmas market with lots of festive food, gifts, crafts and charity fundraisers.
Organiser David Steadman, Adur town centres co-ordinator, said: “Come and enjoy your Christmas shopping in Shoreham.”
The event, from 4pm to 8pm, is part of the Adur Town Centres Initiative.
To coincide with the festival, Shoreham Methodist Church, in Brunswick Road, will be holding a craft fayre from 5pm to 9pm.
Shoreham Art Gallery, also in Brunswick Road, is holding an open evening, 6pm to 9pm, with a grand raffle in aid of Chestnut Tree House.
Tickets will be on sale throughout the day, with the draw held in the evening. Mulled wine will be on offer and Christmas cards designed by children from Swiss Gardens Primary School will be on sale.
Marlipins Museum, in High Street, will be open from 4pm to 8pm. Father Christmas will be in residence in his fishing boat grotto and there will also be a carol singing performance.
