The event was co-hosted by women’s rugby legend Maggie Alphonsi MBE and European Featherweight Boxing Champion Josh Warrington.

This year’s winners were: Joshua Dinsdale (7-9 Geography), Nathaniel Richards (10-13 Photography), The Year 10 Boys Football Team (Sports Team Of The Year) and Stuart Comben (Inspirational Teacher Of the Year).

Jim Coupe, principal of Shoreham Academy, said: “I am proud to see Shoreham Academy represented in so many categories at this year’s awards, with so many winners. This is testament to the hard work and dedication of our students and staff.’

“These awards celebrate the ingenuity, talent, resilience and excellence shown by the winners from across our secondary schools. We had numerous applications for each award and deciding which ones deserved to win was never easy given the quality of each nomination. The winners can be proud that their achievements have been recognised and assessed against very strong competition from across the country.”
