A 40-year-old has been arrested after threatening a man with a knife at an address in Shoreham Beach.

Police received reports of the incident in Ferry Road at 9.22am today (Tuesday, June 13), a spokesperson said.

A 40-year old local man was arrested on suspicion of affray and is currently in custody for interview and further enquiries, police confirmed.

A knife, described as approximately 2ft long, was seized by officers, the spokesperson said.

Nobody was injured.

The two men are known to each other, police added.
