VOLUNTEERS willing to raise a bucket at Tesco to help improve health are sought.
The British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK are appealing for volunteers to collect at Tesco Extra, Holmbush Shopping Centre, on February 13 and 14.
It marks the start of a new three-year partnership, which aims to encourage millions of people to reduce their risk of cardiovascular disease and Type 2 diabetes by leading a healthier lifestyle.
Programme director Jenna Hall said: “Cardiovascular disease and Type 2 diabetes are both serious conditions that can shorten lives. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
“Through this partnership, we aim to help millions of people reduce their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. And by joining us at the Shoreham store, you can play a part in helping people live longer, healthier lives.”
