A TINY church on the South Downs has been shortlisted for a Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) award.
St Botolph’s Church, in Annington Road, Botolphs, is one of 16 buildings shortlisted for the RIBA South East Awards, from a total of 42 entered in the region.
The church, which is in the care of the Churches Conservation Trust, has undergone major renovation, guided by architect Nicola Westbury.
Winners, which will be announced on April 23, will go forward for a RIBA National Award.
RIBA champions better buildings, communities and the environment through architecture and members.
