SINGERS provided some festive entertainment for patients at Shoreham Health Centre.

Shoreham Oratorio Choir and the De Haura Singers performed to raise money for Friends of Pond Road, a charitable organisation whose objective is to raise money for additional medical equipment and to improve facilities within Shoreham Health Centre.

The choir was conducted by Mrs Mary Savage and accompanied by pianist Alan Barker.

Mike Jeffery said carol singing at the health centre had been done for several years, organised by Steph Stringer, one of the choir’s sopranos and a receptionist at Adur Medical Centre. This year’s effort raised £35.

Shoreham Health Centre is home to both Adur Medical Group and Church View Surgery, formerly The Lyons Practice.

Friends of Pond Road meet at the centre and anyone who uses Shoreham Health Centre is welcome.

Anyone with ideas for fundraising who would like to get involved can contact Paulina Alwin at Church View Surgery, Shoreham Health Centre, Pond Road, Shoreham.

Previous fundraising has paid for items like a blood pressure machine, podiatry equipment and mobile hoist weighing scales for district nurses.
