An engineering manager at Shoreham Port has been presented with a long service award after twenty years of employment.
Carl Aichroth joined as a diver and maintenance operative in 1996, repairing and maintaining the port’s infrastructure. Now he manages a team of skilled tradesmen, while continuing to maintain the infrastructure of the port. Mr Aichroth said: “I love the variety of work at the Port. I know a lot of people say it, but really no two days are ever the same.
“I feel very lucky to work in such a great team and was delighted to receive my long service award this week.” Rodney Lunn, Chief Executive at Shoreham Port, said: “Carl is a valued member of our team. His commitment and dedication has resulted in him becoming an integral part of the Engineering Department. “It was a pleasure to present Carl with his long service award this week and I look forward to continuing to work with him.” Don’t miss out on all the latest breaking news where you live.
