Ian Tibbets followed by emailing photos to the Shoreham Herald at 4pm.

He described the scene as a ‘big traffic jam’ and said the damaged cars were on either side of the road.

It is believed the accident involved a grey Toyota travelling west and a blue Honda travelling east.

Both cars were damaged on the front offside.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Two cars collided in Shoreham High Street and one of them also hit a parking sign. Nobody was injured.”
